California cannabis-banking group to meet
The state’s working group was created after California voters passed Proposition 64 that legalized adult-use cannabis in the state.
The Cannabis Banking Working Group, headed by John Chiang, California’s treasurer, will hold a meeting on Thursday in Santa Rosa.
One of the panelists will be Kirk Anderson, chief operations officer for CannaCraft, the largest cannabis business in Santa Rosa, with cannabinoid extraction and manufacturing operations on Circadian Way and proposed new cultivation and transportation enterprise nearby on Circadian Way and Giffen Avenue.
Another panelist will be Jim Brush, CEO and president of Summit State Bank, based in Santa Rosa.
