Another (Hypocrite) Congressman Who Fought Marijuana Legalization Joins Cannabis Company Board

First it was Republican Ohio Senator, and former Speaker of the House, John Boehner (who was once quoted as “unalterably opposed to the legalization of marijuana”) and now we have yet another greedy “conservative” jumping on the band-wagon because it benefits them financially!
HIGHLIGHTS
- Former Indiana Republican Steve Buyer joined FSD Pharma as a member of its Board of Directors. FSD is a Canadian company that is licensed to produce pharmaceutical grade cannabis.
- From 1998 to 2000, Buyer cosponsored two resolutions and one bill aimed at condemning legalization and upholding federal prohibition.
- Mr. Buyer will receive 3M in stock options and $40,000 in cash compensation.
