Tod Williamson isn’t used to the limelight especially when it comes to the press.

To an extent, his apprehension when it comes to attention seems understandable.

Williamson works in the cannabis industry, which is fast evolving as it emerges from underground to legal here in Monterey County and in the city of Salinas. Both the county and city passed ordinances allowing for the sales and cultivation of medical marijuana, and are in the process of vetting applicants for permits.
